JAPANESE RIOTERS.
CLASH WITH THE POLICE. NUMBER OF PEASANTS WOUNDED (Received 1?.5 a.m.) Renter. TOKIO. July 26. Riots are now reported at Kisaki, in 1 the Niigata prefecture. A mob of 700 peasants, armed with spears and clubs, clashed with the police. There were 50 arrests. A number of the peasants were wounded. The riot commenced when the police broke up a procession which was celebrating the establishment of a local proletariat school. vv
