THE DISABLED SOLDIER.
Sir, —I notice in your isue of July 23 a remark made at the Auckland City Council meeting: "Men who have lost a leg have passes." Admitted, but as some people know, there are some returned men who still have vheir legs, but are suffering tortures through sciatic nerve injuries, and that walking means to them more torture. Ask any surgeon what it means to have a sciatic nerve injury and you will sympathise with the men who still have their legs;, and who still "grin," or try to, and also walk. Main Body.
