LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
DOMINION TEAM'S TOUR. MENZIES REPLACES VIVIAN. PLAYERS FOR NEXT SATURDAY. L. Vivian, a Canterbury forward, who was chosen as a member of the New Zealand League football representative team for the English tour, has notified the selectors of his inability to travel and J. Menzies. of South Auckland, will fill the vacancy. If further vacancies occur Littlewood, wing threequarter, Eckhoff, Prentice and Riley, inside backs, and O'Brien, forward, will be selected in the above order.
Players for the match between New Zealand and Auckland, at Carlaw Park on Saturday afternoon are:— New Zealand.—Fullback, Dufty; threequarters, G. Gardiner, W. Desmond, L. Brown: five-eighths, H. Cole, A. Wilson. Hall; halfback, F. Delgrosso; forwards, F. Henry, A. Carroll, E. Herring', L. Mason, H. Thomas (or A. Singe), B. Avery. Auckland.—Fullback, A. Mansill (Newton); threequarters, Ijittlewood (Ponsonby). Riley (Ponsonby), List (Kingsland); fiveeighths, Prentice (Richmond), Wetherall City); halfback, Peckham (Ponsonby); forwards, O'Brien (Marist), Townsend(City), O'Brien (Devonport). REFEREE'S DECISION QUESTIONED
SUSPENSION OF A PLAYER. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The captain of the Marist team, H. M. Blazey, was suspended for one playing Saturday by the Canterbury Rugby League to-night for repeatedly questioning the decision of a releree.
