WOMEN AS MINISTERS.
DECISION OF WESLEYANS. MATRIMONY A BARRIER. (Received 5.5 p.m.) g un , LONDON, July 20. The Wesleyan Conference carried a resolution, in favour of the admission of women to the ministry on the same terms as men, with the exception that they must resign on being married. One delegate asked why matrimony should cancel a call to the ministry.
