J A SUCCESSFUL SEASON. The report and balance-sheet to be presented at the annual meeting of the Ratikati Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., on August 7, shows that the cbmpany has had a successful season. Owing to climatic conditions the supply of butter-fat showed a decrease of 6 per cent, on the previous season. This, however, was more than compensated for by the. better prices realised on butter sales. A further payment of §d per lb. on the whole of the season's supply will be made on August 7, which will bring the gross pay-out, with cream carting added, to Is 7d per lb. A further payment will be made later, bringing the final to Is The quality of tne butter showed an improvement of 1 point. The total distribution for the season will be £40,956 —a record for the company. A total of 278f tons of butter was made, and the number of suppliers Was 111. Electric power and lighting were installed during the season.
