WELLINGTON WINTER SHOW
A RECORD ATTENDANCE.

■ Sp large was the attendance at the Winter' Show on Saturday that all previous records -were broken. The number of people who visited, the show, on that day is estimated at over 18,000. Th« takings at the door for the first week were over £3OO more than the amount , taken in the .corresponding period ;last year. On that occasion the visit of the American Fleet helped to swell the attendance,, so there is no doubt-that the fixture is enjoying an- increased popularity.
