WHEN HANDS ARE LARGE.
Tight-fitting gloves must be avoided like the plague: they shouldn't even fit exactly. Let them be a shade on the large side if you want your hands to look smaller. Darkish shades are more becoming than immaculate white. Long sleeves coming well down over the wrist are always , becoming, and "frills" at the cuff are better still. Pay particular attention to the grooming of your nails. Keep them well manicured, but avoid a high polish. Don't try to hide your hands all the time. You merely draw attention to them. Give extra care to your best points—your hair or your complexion, for instance. Then other people will forget to notice your hands at all. And, anyhow, it's very doubtful whether they are a tenth so conspicuous as you think they are.
