Bandages, home-made, of boiled linen, or shop bought, in two or three widths, neatly rolled and kept covered. Packet of boracic lint. Packet of medicated cotton wool. Reel adhesive tape. Clinical thermometer. Small bottle of brandy (for faintness). Camphorated oil (for colds, coughs, and insect bites). Carbolic acid, toxall, or lysol (for disinfecting cuts, etc.). Carron oil (for burns). Cascara evacuant (tonic aperient for grown-ups). Dinneford's fluid magnesia (tonic aperient forjthe nursery). Liquid medicinal paraffin (lubricant of the system). Small bottle of castor oil. Eucalyptus oil (for colds). lodine (for cuts, etc). Ipecacuanha wine (safe emetic). Vaseline in tube. Zinc ointment.
