THE HAT CAME BACK.
MILLIONAIRE'S POVERTY DAYS Among the passengers who arrived at Bordeaux from Canada not long ago was M. Etchebarry, a millionaire, who left Bordeaux 30 years ago without a sou. On his arrival at' Bordeaux he was wearing the same hat which he wore when he left France as a lad of 18. He intends to return to Canada after visiting Pau, his native place. Another millionaire, M. Studip, arrived on the same boat. He travelled secondclass because he likes simplicity. His first act on landing was to subscribe 50,000 francs £o the French Sinking Fund.
