The Wingatui is at present loading for Wellington and Auckland at Lyttelton. Tho Kurow was to have left Dunedin at 6. o'clock on Saturday for Auckland, via ports. The Kaikorai left Westport on Saturday for Auckland, and should arrive early morrow.THE SCHOONER RESOLUTION. Mr. D. C. Roberts has received advice that the auxiliary schooner Resolution Teachod Norfolk Island from Auckland last Friday morning after a good passage of five and a-haif days. The vessel is to load fruit there, and is expected to leave on the return trip to-morrow, being due about next Monday. t THE KAITUNA. . The steamer Kaituna, which arrived from Newcastle on Friday, berthed at Western Wharf on Saturday morning. She loaded chaff at Adelaide and coal at Newcastle, leaving there on July 1. The voyage was witnout incident, although stormy weather was encountered on the first day. The Union Company reports that the vessel will leave to-morrow afternoon for Greymouth, where sho will load for Auckland. RICHARDSON STEAMERS. Messrs. Watkin and Wallis advise that the Awahou was delayed at Auckland by yesterday's gale and is expected to leavo for East Coast ports at 3 o'clock to-day. The Putiki could not leave for Portland yesterday, but will sail to-day, when the, weather permits.. The Mako arrived from Napier ,and East Coast bays yesterday evening after a very etormy passage. She is at Queen's Wharf, but is to move to tho slipway to-day. CANADIAN CHALLENGER DELAYED. Owing to heavy seas and a strong northeasterly gale, tho Canadian Challenger, from Halifax, which was due at Auckland yesterday afternoon, was forced to heave-to oft Grsat Barrier early yesterday and late last night' Vras still unable to proceed. The master was constantly in touch with Mr.* J. B. Patcrson. tha local agent, and at 4 o'clock reported that the weather was very thick, with continuous squalls. The vessel should bo able to reach port some time to-day. ■ PAWLET WITH TIMBER. An arrival from San Francisco early on Saturday morning was the Swayne and Hoyto < Line steamer Pawlet, which berthed at Prince's Wharf to discharge, to the agency of Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane. Tho vessel brings a cargo of 3,500,000 H. of timber, of which about 1,000,000 ft will be discharged at Auckland and Wellington, and the balance at Melbourne and Geelong. She also has 150 H tons of general cargo of which 300 torn will be put out hero. On her present voyage the Pawlet commenced loading at San Francisco, and continued at Noyo, North California, Aberdeen. Washington, Vancouver, 8.C., Tacoma, Seattle, and completed at San Francisco. Departure was taken on June 12, and oil supplies were replenished at Hoikolulu on June 21. Fine weather prevailed on the voyage except for threatening conditions, which arose a day off tho coast. The vessel has not previously visited Auckland. She was idle on the Pacific Coast for about two years, and oeforo leaving for New Zealand made a trip to the Orient. According to a cablo message from Suva, ii.M.S. Dunedin kit for Nukualofa on rnda-y. She is to return to Suva again and is due at Auckland on July 23. THE NIAGARA'S VOYAGE. The Royal Mail liner Niagara, which arrived at Suva from Auckland on Friday morning, continued her voyage to Vancouver, via Honolulu, tho same afternoon, bho is due at her destination on July 23. THE K AIM AN A WA. A cable message from Suva announces tho arrival on Saturday of tho Union Company's steame; Kaimanawa from Auckland. Sho left hero last Monday, and is to load raw sugar at Suva and Lautoka, sailing for Auckland irom tho latter port to-morrow. THE DEVON'S LOADING. Tho steamer Devon arrived at Gisborne on Saturday to continue loading for London. Antwerp and West Coast of England ports. The weather is unfavourable and she cannot leave for Aueklund to fill up before Wednesday. THE PORT PIRIE. The Commonwealui and Dominion Lino steamer Port Pirie is due at Wellington on Thursday from New Plymouth to continue loading for Glasgow, Liverpool, Avonmouth and' London. Sho is to fill up at .Napier, NORFOLK DUE THURSDAY. A wireless message from the master of the Norfolk from Liverpool stating that he now expects to make port at noon on Thursday was received yesterday by the New Zealand Shipping Company. CANADIAN CRUISER REPORTED. Tho Canadian Cruiser is reported by cable to have arrived at Colon, en route from Montreal to Auckland. , .She is due here about August 6. ATHENIC AT COLON. The Shaw, Savill liner Athenic, which left Southampton on June 22 for Wellington, arrived at Colon on Friday. She is due at her destination on July 30. PORT HARDY AT NEW YORK. A cable message from New York announces the arrival from Auckland of the Commonwealth and Dominion Lino steamer Port- Hardy. She left here on June 2 and is to proceed to London. MATAKANA REPORTED. The Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Matakana has arrived at Teneriffe, en route to London from Wellington, which port she loft on June 5. THE TAHITI. According to a cable message from San Francisco the Royal Mail liner Tahiti arv;ved from Wellington on Friday. She is to sail on the return on Wednesday and is due'at Wellington on August 2. THE- RUAHINE. ' The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahine is due at Wellington on Thursdaj from Lyttelton to fill up for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island, Panama and" Curacao. She is to sail finally at daybreak next Saturday. CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL. Ihe Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor-ship Port Dunedin is scheduled to sail from Liverpool next Saturday with cargo from West Coast of England ports for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Sho is duo here about August 25. THE AORANGI. The Union Company has received advice that tho Royal Mail liner Aorangi will now arrive from Vancouver, via Honolulu and Suva, about midday next Sunday. She is announced to continue her voyage to Sydney at 3 o'clock the following afternoon instead of 5 o'clock, as previusly stated. CARGO FROM CANADA. The New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised that the steamer Queen Maud arrived at Sydney.
