MOTOR ACCIDENTS.
TAXI AND LORRY COLLIDE. LITTLE DAMAGE CAUSED. A collision between a one-ton motorlorry driven by Mr. H. Kennedy and a taxi-cab driven by Mr. G. Erceg occurred at the corner of Wellesley Street West and Sale Street shortly before eight o'clock last evening. Neither driver was injured. The righthand rear wheel of the lorry was broken, and a mudguard on the taxi-cab was dented. Rain was falling at the time. A motor-car driven by Mr. J. H. Owens collided with a horse and cart driven by a Chinese, Wah Sun, in Point Chevalier Road, near the public hall, last evening. The steering gear of the motor-car was slightly damaged, as well as a front mudguard, while the cart also sustained minor injury. A motor-car driven by Mr. B. Millett, of Avondale and owned by Mr. G. Stuart, of Avondale, met with an accident in Now Windsor Road, Avondale, yesterday morning. The car was proceeding along the road when it got out of control, finally capsizing. The three occupants of the car escaped unhurt, but the vehicle itself was badly damaged. It was insured.
