Winston William Aitchison, described as ;i commercial traveller, of the North Island, was fined .£lO and costs in the Police Court for negligently driving a motor-car, which ran into a telegraph polo in the early morning of February 24. A girl passenger received such head injuries as necessitated her removal to the hospital.
