ACTIVITY AMONG RIFFS. SPANISH FORCES ATTACKED. Australian and 2ST.Z. .Calcic Association. (Reed. 7.5 p.m.) PAULS, May 5. Despatches from Fez state that the Paifs are active along the entire front in the Ouergha Valley. They , are digging a double line of trenches in every valley leading northward to Targuist, where it is expected that Ahrl el Krim will make his last stand.
In the meantime the Riffs, assisted by tribesmen, are attacking the Spanish on the western front.
