ALLEGED ATTACK ON WIFE.
HALF-CASTE REMANDED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Thursday Tn the Police Court to-day Ernest Taniwha Sutherland, a half-caste, was remanded until May 14 on a charge of attempting to kill his wife at Awalniri on February 10, when it is alleged ho struck her v/ith a knife or axe.
