FARMER'S BANKRUPTCY.
SEVERAL CHARGES LAID. [ky TKi.rGHArjr.-~press association.] A SIEBUII TO X. Thtirsday. Robert MeElhinney, a farmer, of Fairfield. pleaded not guilty, reserved his defence, and was committed for trial on five charges of breaches of the Bankruptcy Act, as follows: —(1) Failing to keep proper books: (2) making a materia! omission in bis statement, in not disclosing that lie had a lease of certain lands; (3) not disclosing al! his property or how disposed of; (4) being privy to falsification of a document relating to property and affairs; (5) that with intent to conceal the true state of his affairs he omitted to keep proper books or accounts.
