OTAHUHU LOAN POLL.
BOTH PROPOSALS CARRIED. MANGERE ROAD CONCRETING. Both loan proposals of the Otahuhu Borough Council were carried at the poll of ratepayers yesterday. There was a record poll in spite of the rain.. The raising of £7600 for thti erection of borough council chambers and fire brigade accommodation and the purchase of fire-fighting equipment was endorsed by 359 votes to 235. Authority to raise £II,OOO for the concreting of Mangore Road was granted by 418 votes to 182.
