A FOOTBALLER'S "MISTAKE"
REINSTATEMENT SOUGHT. " Played League last Saturday, hut made a mistake," wrote a footballer who forwarded an application for reinstatement to the management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union Football Union last evening. The laconic explanation commended itself to the meeting and, with eight others, the application was endorsed. All will be forwarded to the New Zealand Rugby Union for consideration.
