BOWLING. LOCAL BODIES' MATCH. Bowlers representing the Auckland C'ity Council and the Auckland Harbour Board played a match at the Auckland Club's green on Wednesday afternoon, the City Council team winning by 87 points to 7!. During the afternoon tea adjournment, the good feeling and fellowship existing between the council and tho board was mentioned by the Mayor, Mr. G. B.tildon. and the chairman of the hoard. Mr. 11. R. Mackenzie. The city engineer, Mr. W. E. Bush, and the Harbour Board superintendent. Mr. H. B. Burnett replied on behalf of the staffs. The Mayor's expression of thanks to the club for the use of its green was responded to by Mr. J. Carlaw.
