FALL FROM A VESSEL.
RECENT PORTLAND FATALITY. [BY TELEGRAPH. — own' correspondent. ] WHANGAREI, Friday. An inquest regarding the death of Mr. William Harvey on March 29 showed that it was duo to a fall between the Herekino and the Portland Wharf. Deceased chose a shorter way ashore than the gangway. Ho received broken ribs, which pierced his lungs, resulting later in his death. A verdict of accidental death was returned, no blame being attachable to any°ne. ____________
