SITE TO BE CLEARED IMMEDIATELY. Work has now begun at the sito of tho new theatre for J. C. Williamson, Ltd. Tho whole area is to bo cleared immediately, including tho Queen Street shops, and tho work of building commenced. Messrs. Falkner and Company, the wellknown umbrella manufacturers, nro holding a final clearing sale, and are disposing of many lines at absurd prices. Walking sticks are offered at 6d each. Silk sunshades from Is 3d each. Handkerchiefs from Id each. Pure silk hosiery at half price. Thoro are thousands of umbrellas of nil kinds, including the latest chubby umbrellas for ladies and all manner of umbrellas for men. With rain threatening tho Easter holidays Aucklanders would do well to equip themselves with umbrellas from Messrs. Fnlkner's.
