THE PRICE OF MEAT.
POSITION AT DUNEDIN. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DUNEDIN, Wednesday. A repoiter learned to-day that there is no probability of meat prices being reduced as has been done in Auckland. It was stated that the Dunedin butchers lowered their prices by Id, and more in some lines, about six weeks ago. Mutton was usually cheaper in the South than in the North, and with beef the difference was the other way.
