OBITUARY.
MR. EDWARD SEWELL. Tho death of Mr. Edward Sewell, o! Rahire Road, Mount Eden, J is announced. He was born in Kent, England, in 1855, and arrived in New Zealand with his parents with tho Albertland settlers in the ship Hanover 66 years ago. He followed dairying pursuits until his retirement 12 years ago. Mr. Sewell, with his parents, first settled at Takaptina, afterwards residing at Tamaki and Mangere during the times of Maori unrest. Then, for many years he resided at Edendale. Deceased was a prominent Freemason, being particularly identified with Lodge Auckland No. 87, N.Z.C., of which lodge he was the first worshipful master. He was also the recipient of grand lodge hoaors. He is survived by a widow, two sons and two, daughters.
