ANNIVERSARY DAY EVENTS. DETAILS OF THE ENTRIES. LARGER THAN LAST YEAR. Entries for the sailing and motor-launch races at the Auckland Anniversary Regatta whicli takes place or. Friday, January 29, closed last evening. Tho total number received for' all events was 226, compared with 225 Inst year. A number of late entries are expected to come to hand to-day and in addition tho race for visiting launches, the entries for which close on regatta morning, will further increase this year's total.
