MILK PRICES RAISED.
PENNY A QUART INCREASE. EFFECT OF THE DRY SEASON. The Auckland and Suburban Milk Yendors' Association announces that from today the price of milk will be increased from 6d to 7d a quart. The price of cream and the wholesale price ot milk will also be increased by the same amount. A member of the association stated last evening that the decision was arrived at unanimously. The association had been forced to raise tho prico owing to the scarcity of feed for cows. The season had been a very dry ono and dairy farmers were feeling the effects of a decrease in yield from the herds.
