CART COMPLETELY WRECKED. THE DRIVER IN HOSPITAL. [BY telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION. 1 WANGANTJI. Tuesday. While driving a horse and cart over tho railway crossing near the Waverlcy racecourso yesterday afternoon Sir. Charles Holdener, a single man, was run down by a train. lie was unconscious when picked up, and was conveyed by the train to Patea, where he was admitted to hospital suffering from concussion. The cart was completely wrecked, but the horse was not injured. The crossing is a very dangerous and has been the scene of several serious accidents.
