In the Sheffield Shield match against "Victoria South Australia's first innings yielded 452 (Rvmill 124, Alexander 133, Grimmett 33), and Victoria, who made 232 in their first effort, had put on 53 without loss when stumps were drawn today, Woodfull being 31 and Lansdown 17. Alexander gave a dashing display, and with Rymill created a record seventh wicket partnership against Victoria. Rain fell at the luncheon interval and the wicket was again covered.
