SHIELD WON BY AUCKLAND. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PJIESS ASSOCIATION. ] MASTERTOX. Saturday. At the Wairarapa Caledonian sports the ambulance brigade competition resulted:— Auckland, 90 points, !l; Waingava", 87 points, 2; Palmerston North, 03 points, 3. The Auckland divisiofi of the St. John Ambulance Brigade thus wins the Hessey Shield. The team consisted of Sergeant E. Howes, Corporal K. Crawford and Privates J. Guest and S. Groom.
