PALESTINE CAMPAIGN.
THE NEW ZEALAND BRIGADE. BOND WITH COMMONWEALTH. [BY TEMGIIAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] DUNEDIN, Saturday. In the course,of, an interview hero Mr. Harry S. Gullett, of Australia, who wrote the official war history of /the Australians in Palestine, said the particular pleasure he had had in his two visits to New Zealand daring tho past 12 months had been his meeting with members of the New Zealand Mounted Rifles Brigade, which served in Palestine. "In Australia we are intensely proud of the records c! our 14 light horse regiments," he said, "but a common remark among Australians is that your New Zealand brigade was the most excellently equipped and most efficient brigade in Palestine. I am sure that the bond between the New Zealand Brigade and the Australian mounted men is one which will endure for ever. In General Sir Edward Cnaytor, New Zealand possessed one of the finest leaders c-f mounted men in the Empire."
