RABBITS' PARADISE.
THE FIRST IN AUSTRALIA, ** MEDDLING WITH PROVIDENCE." LONDON, Dec. 22. Referring to the death of Mr. ,T. R. Collison, of Maidstone, Kent, who formerly resided in Australia, and who claimed to have first introduced rabbits there, tho Evening Standard says: "Although Australia will probably forgive at tho graveside, Mr. Collison wisely lived in England. "Perhaps there never was such a disastrous meddling with the arrangements cf Providence as in this case. Australia was the country tho rabbit- had been seeking all its life."
