DEATH FROM INJURIES.

MOTOR COLLISION SEQUEL. CHRISTMAS DAY ACCIDENT. The death occurred at the Auckland Hospital on Thursday afternoon of Mr. Finley Charles Leathart, aged 19, who was severely injured in a motor-car collision at the corner of Hinemoa Street and Harbour View Road, Birkenhead, on Christmas Day. The car in which Mr. Leathart was tr- ...iling turned over on its side and he was pinned down, one of the supports of the hood resting on him. Mr. Leathart was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Leathart, of Birkenhead. He was a mate on the passenger ferry steamers on the western service of the Devonport Ferry Company, and was wellknown at Birkenhead and Northcote.
