MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Kurutiui.—The drive west on Ross Reef has b®n extended lift., a total of 207 ft. from 'this side of the main crosscut. The reef here averaged about Bin. wide, and showed sold in the disji by wash ins. but no sold was Been in the stone. The reef in the face at present ia pinched, caused by a small break crossing the face. The country is still good for malting gold, there being fiome nice mineral seams. The drive north on the cross leader has been extended 9ft.. a total of 101 ft. from the side of the drive on Ross Reef. The reef averages Bin. wide, and looks very well, giving fair prospects by dish washing but no gold was se«n in the stone. The country here is still good for making gold. At present there is a little water coming out of the country, which makes this level require timbering.
