AUCKLAND RACES.

FROCKS AT ELLF.RSLIE, The Auckland Racing Club s Summer Meeting was continued at Ellerslie yesterday, when the running of the Great Northern Derby attracted a large number of enthusiasts. The weather was showery and , the {rocking was'sombre comparison with the two previous days. A few light frocks were worn, but as the wind was keen, wraps and coats were much in demand.
