MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS.
Moanataiari.—The east crosscut has been advanced oft, a total of 248 ft. We passed through a flinty about 2in. wide underlying the same way as the reef should when it is cut. The country through this flinty is of a very favourable description. The west crosscut has been advanced 10ft, a total of 222 ft. Wo arc now in- a splendid channel of country, it being, much firmer and well mineralised. The Caledonia reef has been advanced 12ft. a total of 147 ft. There is a change of country in the face, as it is a little mikler and carrying black mineral seams. There are several stringers coming in from the hanging wall, and they look .promising for carrying gold.
