Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Kennedy, of Wellington, are on a visit to Auckland. Mrs. L. H. Hunt, of Auckland," is visiting her mother, Mrs. McDonald, The Grange, Opawa, Christ-church. Mrs. G. P. Natusch and her small son were among the arrivals in Wellington from Sydney on Wednesday last. ' Mrs. A. J- McFlynn, of Green Lane, left by the Maunganui for Sydney and the Blue Mountains, where a holiday will be spent. Miss Orr-Ewing, who has been staying with Mrs. Algar Williams, Christchurch, lias gone to Dunedin, with Their Excellencies, Sir Charles and Lady Alice Fergusson. On Wednesday, November 18, the Welfare Circle of the Lyceum Club will meet, and on Friday evening, November 20, the Literary Circle are holding a John Galsworthy evening. Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Cucksey, of Auckland, are the guests of Mrs. David Crozier, Fendalton, Christchurch. After the races, accompanied by Mrs. Crozier, they motored to Dunedin 'for the opening of the exhibition. The Auckland Lyceum Club are holding their flower show this afternoon. A beautiful show of roses, sweet peas and other flowers will be displayed; also bouquets, posies and buttonholes, decorated baskets and native flowers. Orchestral selections will be contributed.
