THEATRE FROCKS.

Most original in design and in exquisite taste are the frocks worn in Good Morning, Dearie," staged by the J. U Williamson Company at His Majesty s Theatre on Saturday evening. The ballets are remarkable for their extremely pretty frocking which is carried out in delightful colour schemes. In another oalleV. white net skirts are banded with row.', of satin ribbon and attached to dosefitt in p bodices with charming effect. Somo°very beautiful Chinese costumes are heavily embroidered in rich and harmonising colours. A vellum shaded satin is worked in silks of apple green and cyclamen shades, and a costume of turquoise blue is strewn with blossoms in various tones of pink. In the black and white ballet, which is an outstanding feature of the dressing, the effect is most distinctive. Hooped skirts of black panno velvet, voluminous in width, sweep the ground and are attached to long pointed bodices of white satin. Small diamond-shaped caps are worn on the cnrled white wigs and the black lace fans that flutter tc a graceful curtesy g ; ve an old-world air that is most bewitching. Miss .Tosie Melville is a petite and dainty figure in her many pretty frocks. A dove grey crepe de chine is simply cut with a' full gathered skirt, down which loops of ribbons flutter at the sides. Another pretty frock is of sprigged taffetta with pettaled dancing skirt and short-waisted bodice. Over this, in true Spanish fashion, she flings a magnificent shawl in a deep shade of orange, splashed with crimson roses. A white frock of satin beaute is an exquisite little dancing frock with its embroidered design in silver and diamante. The full skirt, opens over panels of georgette and the narrow bodice is held with diamond shoulder straps. With this frock Miss Melville wears a luxurious wrap of white fur with a great cape-like collar. Miss Adele Crane first appears in a smart frock of ivory georgette, finely accordion-pleated and piped with nattier blue and a chic little white hat. Another charming frock is of cream mariette, encrusted with milk white beads and with this is worn a becoming picture hat of white velour with sweeping ostrich plume and a chiffon velvet wrap with deep collar of white fur. Miss Jean Newcombe wears black throughout the performance. One frock of georgette shows an under-slip of rust coloured satin and is caught in the front, with a bronze and black ornament, with tassel of bronze beads. A frock of black satin beaute severe, and simply cut. is fashioned by graceful drapings at the hip, where a large bow forms a loose panel giving the effect of a short train.
