A GROWING SCHOOL.
ENLARGEMENT AT HILLCREST. [BY TEf.EGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] > HAMILTON. Saturday. Hillcrest, a suburb of Hamilton, has made rapid progress recently, as may be gauged from the increased attendance at tho Hillcrest school. Two years, ago the school was opened with provision for 80 children and all the. accommodation was immediately occupied. The attendance rapidly increased, until the teachers' retiring loom and the corridor had to be used for classrooms. An agitation was set up by the School Committee for further accommodation, the need for which was becoming acute. The request was finally granted and an additional wing , has been built. When the work in Hand is completed in about a fortnight's time, the school will have room for 140 pupils.
