PATUMAHOE STATION.
A CARETAKER WANTED. [by telegraph.—own CORRESPONDENT. 3 PUKEKOHI3, Thursday. The appointment of a caretaker to the Patumahoe railway station on the Waiuku line is desired, and residents of the district have taken the- opportunity offered by the electioneering visit of Mr. E. D. McLennan to urge' the appointment, it being stated that goods had gone astray, and that the station was the one. for settlers .as far away as Waiau Pa, some miles distant; Mr. McLennan promised to take the matter up with the authorities.
