INVADERS AND DEFENDERS. WIN FOR GENERAL GODLEY. LONDON, September 24. Experts are of opinion that the Army manoeuvres proved that General Sir Alexander Godley's smaller western force successfully defended London against Lieu-tenant-General Sir Phillip Chotwode's invaders.
