BAD EFFECT ON THE FRANC. AMERICAN CREDITS TO BE USED. Tteuter. FARIS. 7 ' In connection with the recent fall of the franc, the Ministry of Finance denounces, as purely, speculative, recent operations on Paris and foreign bourses. These resulted in a rise of several points in various currencies. The Ministry says the Government will use its credit arrangements with Messrs. J. P. Morgan and Company, of New York, for the purpose of stabilising the franc.
