TARANAKI DAIRYING.
UNFAVOURABLE WEATHER. A well-known dairy farmer and dairy factory director in the South Taranaki district stated the other day that there was a somewhat serious drop in production in the district on account of the unseasonable weather. In his locality one farmer was down in his supply to the factory to the extent of 4001b. oj milk in one day as compared with last yew, although milking the same number of cows, while the factory was manufacturing 10 cheeses less in comparison with the same period last vea;. This ispresents approximately 8501b. of cheese.
