MATAURA WATER SUPPLY.
AN OFFICIAL OPENING. [BY TEI.EGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] IN VERC ARG ILL, Wednesday. The Mataura borough's new water scheme was opened to day l>y the Hon, G. J. Anderson in the presence of 500 spectators. The scheme! is a gravitation one. The reservoir has a capacity of 80.000 gallons, and an intake capacity of 1.000,000 gallons.
