SAFETY IN THE AIR.
PREVENTION OF STALLING, A NEW AUTOMATIC DEVICE. 'LONDON, Sept. 29. The famous "sky-writing" pilot, Bramson, has demonstrated in the air an automatic device to prevent aeroplanes from stalling, which it is estimated causes 80 per cent, of fatal aviation accidents. When a machine threatens to stall an automatic hand, worked by compressed air, forces the joy-stick forward, the dipping machine thus regaining flying speed.
