LAND REFORMS URGED.
ENGLISH LIBERALS' VIEWS. B enter, LO-DON, Oct. « The renort of the Liberal Land Com rnittee, over which Mr. Lloyd George bns presided for the past two years, has been published in book form. U emphasises I hat more people are unemployed Chan are engaged in agriculture. Drastic, determined action is, it, says, necessary to secure reforms which will ensue to workers on the land a proper wage and opportunities for advancement. The report says the State must exercise its tight and its full functions as regards agricultural land, in order to secure the test possible conditions and tenure, and so to assist in the full development of .he land. The new policy of "cultivating tenure" is desn ibed as drastic, and in a sense revolutionary, closely resembling conditions in Denmark.
