MELBA TO RETIRE.
FAREWELL TOUR PENDING. THREE MONTHS IN ENGLAND. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Oct. 6. Dame Nellie Media's agents are arranging for her farewell tour of Britain, to begin in January and last for three months. These will he positively the last arinearances of the prima donna in the cities to be visited. Dame Melba's grand farewell will take place in London next summer.
