THE OHINEMURI CONTEST.
i Sir, —For illogical reasoning, and inconsistency of argumentative ideas, commend' me to a letter of " Old Waihi Worker," in Tuesday's Herald. He wants a j Labour candidate to stand for Ohinemuri, | although , he acknowledges tho sitting | member " votes solidly with Labour " | but " does not come out in the open," j whatever that may mean. Does " Old j Waihi Worker " want Mr, Poland (who by the way is an Independent), to wear f a special tag ? Xo, old worker, voa don't know when you are well off. Mr. Poland sprang from the labouring class, and while always taking an active interest in other wide matters of the Dominion, all his actions in the House prove his sympathies are with the worker. So give credit to whom credit is due. M.D.R.
