MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Kuranui.— Development work on tho roef has been continued. Two rises are being put up on the reef in the levol going N.E. or toward tho slide. Number one rise, which starts 35ft. in from the crosscut, is up 10ft. from the back of the level and averages Ift. in width. Good coarse gold is showing in the solid stone and give a good prospects in the dish. Number two rise is now up about 9ft. above the level, and is situated 4ft. ahead of No 1 nse, Ui« reef being about loin, in width, the Quartz is stood payable ore and soma Good spetirnetifl have been obtained at this point recently. The reef nt its junction with the cross-reef has been sunk 011 a few feet. The quarts is about Ift, in width, gives good dish prospects and looks well.
