RAPID SPRING GROWTH.
THE PUKEKOHE COUNTRYSIDE [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] PUKEKOHE. Wednesday. The mild conditions of the past ten days have wrought a change throughout the rural areas. Growth is now rapid and the grass and crops are making good progress. The season is about three weeks' later this year than on the average. The milk yields are increasing, and the lambs are looking well. It will be some weeks before fat stock are available in considerable numbers.
