TRAGIC TENNIS GAME.
SCHOOL TEACHER'S DEATH, There was a tragic* occurrence on the tennis courts at Grafton, New South Wales, recently. Mr. G. T. Clarke, headmaster of the district school, was playing with his wife in the mixed doubles competition in connection with the Grafton City Club night tournament, and had just finished a hard set, when ho fell across the net and collapsed. Medical assistance was quickly summoned, but on the doctor's arrival Mr. Clarke was dead. The deceased was 54 ye*rs old, and was a returned soldier.
