SATURDAY'S ARRANGEMENTS Two junior grade matches.will be played at Remuera on Saturday under the a ; apices of the Auckland Hockey Association. In the fourth grade St. Paul's will play Mount Eden, holders of the challenge cup. on No. 5 ground at 1.30 p.m. The winners of this match will then play the Epiphany fifth grade team on the same ground at 3.15 p.m. Mr. G. Sl Junior Challenge Cup Final.—Training College second grade v. SomerviUe third grade, No. 4, 1.40 p.m., Mr. C. H. Smith. CONTROL OF HOCKEY. RETENTION IN CHRISTCHURCH. [by telegraph.—press association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. By 12 votes to five the motion by the Wellington <Hoakey Association that the Headquarters of the New Zealand Association he shifted from Christchurch to Wellington, was defeated at the special meeting of the council of the association last evening. All the associations were represented. A motion on behalf tf Jh® Wellington Association, providing that alterations to the rules be decided on the bare majority instead of a two-thirds majority vote, was lost on the voices. It was announced that a British Army team from India would tour New Zealand sn May and June, 1928.
