SWIMMING.

MOUNT EDEN CLUB. SUCCESSFUL PAST SEASON. The Mount Eden Amateur Swimming Club held its seventh annual meeting last evening, the president, Mr. C. R. Surman, occupying the chair. ft was reported that the club had had a most successful season. A profit of £25 was made and the club had £95 at its disposal. Two carnivals were held at the Mount Eden bath, the proceeds of the first one being donated to the Borough Council for further improvements. The membership was 76 a decrease of 20 on tbe previous year's figures. the renovated Mount Eden baths were greatly appreciated but the lighting could still be improved.
